The whole world in one hand

 

The story of Alessia and Daniele can be told through these words:

“We keep this love in a photograph.
We built these memories for ourselves,
where our eyes never close.
Our hearts have never been broken
and time is still frozen forever. ”

These are the lyrics of a splendid love song by Ed Sheeran. The title is “Photograph”, a word that explain how important it is to keep your memories. It is a song that Alessia and Daniele, obviously, loves very much. Because in it, there is everything to understand that we build our present through the memories. To preserve and to build:  two words that are connected together in an indissoluble bond. Without the memories that accompany our lives, our love, our dreams, the present would be meaningless to us. And the only way to keep your present is to stop time through photography, which is one of the rare things in life that makes us feel that we belong to something, to someone, giving us the meaning of life itself.

Alessia and Daniele’s wedding took place on a splendid day of August, in the wonderful Abbey of San Clemente al Vomano. After the ceremony, we headed to the venue for the party, the Parco dei Poeti in Cellino Attanasio. Before reaching it, however, we took advantage of the time we had available to do some couple shots. As always, I look for interesting views not far from the venue. Abruzzo is a wonderful land, not only for the breathless landscapes or the wonderful coastline, but above all for those hidden corners that bring to mind moments of rural life. And so that the couple shots will take place, depending on the situation, between olive trees and old disused mills, between the breathtaking sunset in the mountains and farmhouses now abandoned, but full of charm.

The story of Alessia and Daniele is all in the lyrics of that song by Ed Sheeran. Because love is nothing more than keeping memory of what you are, building your destiny together, day after day.
