The Story of a special day

 

This is the story of the happy wedding day of Silvia and Filippo, in the name of strong feelings and lightheartedness. On a warm day at the end of August, they crowned their love with a religious ceremony, held in the ancient Church of San Pietro in Campovalano.

First of all, I followed the wedding preparations scrupulously, focusing as always on details, trying to give back a memory of precious and unique moments. Refined details, looks of complicity, the lightheartedness of a laugh, or that special haste on the way to a date, that quickens one’s step.

After the ceremony, I had the opportunity to take some pictures of them. I chose, therefore, to set the couple’s shoot between hills and olive trees because, I think, it’s the right way to tell a wonderful story of love and romantic feelings. My intention is always to try to do it in the most intimate and romantic way.

Also, in this case, Silvia and Filippo could appreciate my work approach, simple but effective. I don’t like to hold back the couples more than necessary, risking not being able to grasp the essence of those moments so precious and intimate. In my opinion, just a few shots are sufficient, but they must be able to give back unique and eternal emotions and to compose the story of a special day delicately.

Cheerfulness and lightheartedness are features that fully reflect the characters of the protagonists of this story. Because every wedding is a reflection of the couple’s personality and of the people close to them. My task, therefore, is to document these feelings in a discreet and non-invasive way.

So, it was a day full of love. This is the story of that happy wedding day.
